Stories on Umbria International Journalism Award 2017, submissions are now open.
This is the eighth edition of the competition, announced by Perugia and Terni Chambers of Commerce, addressed to articles and video services covering issues of artistic-cultural-environmental highlights and high-quality economic system of the region, improving Umbria visibility both in Italy and worldwide.
Such as for the past edition, the award is divided into three categories:
- Tourism, Nature and Culture
- Business, Products and Jobs
- Video
- “School of Journalism" Award, reserved to video made by students attending an Italian School of Journalism
- General excellence (Jurors’ Choice), reserved to an entry of high excellence not honoured in the main categories, to be selected by the Jury
- "Stories on Umbria - Under 30" Photo Contest, open exclusively to non-professional photographers, aged between 18 and 29 years
The deadline for entries is 15 February 2017.
The Jury will determine the winners for each category. The winners will be awarded during the award ceremony, to be held in Perugia in April 2017, during the International Journalism Festival (5-9 April 2017).
