Submissions are now open for Stories on Umbria International Journalism Award 2016.
The competition, announced by Perugia and Terni Chambers of Commerce, is addressed to articles and video services covering issues of artistic-cultural-environmental highlights and high-quality economic system of the region, improving Umbria visibility both in Italy and worldwide. It is closely related to interventions set up by the Chambers of Commerce to promote the region and its firms.
What’s new in the seventh edition:
Categories:
- “Tourism, Nature and Culture”: photographic-journalistic articles about the region’s artistic, cultural and environmental treasures, published in national or international newspapers, periodicals or online publications between 1 January 2015 and 31 March 2016 may be submitted - Prize € 2.500
- “Jobs, Business and Products”: photographic-journalistic articles about interesting jobs, business and high-quality production system, published in national or international newspapers, periodicals or online publications between 1 January 2015 and 31 March 2016 may be submitted - Prize € 2.500
- “Video”: features aired on an official broadcast channel or published on the web between 1 January 2015 and 31 March 2016 may be submitted - Prize € 2.500.
The Jury will nominate for the award a shortlist of 3 entries for each category. The finalists in each category will be invited to attend the award ceremony, to be held in Perugia in June 2016.
